Are you familiar with Kathryn Tucker Windham's stories of Jeffrey the Ghost? If you're not, here is a synopsis... Jeffrey is a ghost that made his presence known in the Windham household in October 1966. The Windham family would hear him slam doors, rock in a chair, and hear footsteps in rooms that they would discover to be empty. Jeffrey also allegedly moved heavy pieces of furniture, caused electronics to malfunction, and hid objects in the house. After an accidental picture of Jeffrey was developed, Kathryn Tucker Windham began writing ghost stories and many of them featured Jeffrey.
Now that you know a little about Jeffrey the Ghost, I can let you in on a secret... Jeffrey will be making 31 appearances this October in Selma, Alabama! Each day he will travel to a different location to haunt the residents and visitors of Selma as he learns about history and searches for other ghosts. We are hoping to catch him in a picture each day and post it on our blog, so be on the lookout for his first adventure on October 1!
I loved Miss Katheryn!! Love this idea!
